In the context of the celebration of its 55th anniversary, completed in November 2023, the National Fund for the Development of Education (FNDE), a federal agency linked to the Ministry of Education (MEC), launched in January the digital version of the book "FNDE 55 Years - Stories, arts and crafts in Brazilian education". Written by employees of the institution, the work narrates the trajectory of the agency and has the participation of RNP, with an article on the National Textbook Program (PNLD Digital).

The text “Digital transformation in the National Book and Teaching Material Program (PNLD): a diagnosis” was written by the RNP Solutions Manager responsible for the Digital PNLD, Roosevelt Benvindo, by the general coordinator of Book Programs at FNDE, Nadja Rodrigues, and by the specialist in Financing and Execution of Educational Programs and Projects at FNDE, Sâmella Russo.

According to Roosevelt Benvindo, "documenting the challenges to improve the PNLD's processes and value chain, considering the inclusion of digital textbooks, was a rewarding experience. It was possible to record in the article the challenges and precautions we faced in adopting this new model, which is unique, since nothing in the world compares to the magnitude of the PNLD's public policy in terms of volume and scope. From this perspective, the PNLD DIGITAL will benefit millions of students throughout the country, which fills us with pride. Let's move forward for a better Brazil."

RNP is responsible for redesigning processes and modeling a proposed technological solution in a cloud environment for the National Book and Teaching Material Program (PNLD), where books will be made available in digital format.
