It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Valmir Ferreira Alves, director of the company Ômega Engenharia and a long-time valued partner of RNP. Valmir was laid to rest on Saturday (6/29), in downtown Jundiaí (SP), surrounded by the affection of family, friends and co-workers.

Valmir Ferreira Alves leaves a great legacy for RNP, contributing significantly since the beginning of the Community Networks for Education and Research Program (Redecomep) and to the construction and maintenance of metropolitan networks throughout Brazil.

“Together with our consultants, he always helped us to set the values ​​practiced in the market for our processes”, says Marco Montoro, Network Engineering Coordinator at RNP.
