Alagoas holds the 3rd edition of the state's Network Technologies Workshop between May 15th and 17th
The RNP Point of Presence in Alagoas (PoP-AL) is holding the 3rd edition of the state's Network Technologies Workshop (WTRs) from May 15 to 17, in person, at the Jaraguá Innovation Center, in Maceió. The event is aimed at managers and technical teams in the ICT area of the main public and private teaching and research institutions in Alagoas.
The meeting will feature several lectures on the first day and the other two days will be dedicated to the mini-course on IP Routing Protocols, taught by the Escola Superior de Redes (ESR).
"Expectations are the highest and best possible. We started with a modest event and, in two months, we had already reached the maximum number of registrants. We have a multidisciplinary event that brings together clients, students, teachers, public servants and the entire community for a debate on the future of networks and digital transformation. We have 400 registered participants, and we have a waiting list. The event will be broadcast live, so the audience that will come to us will be even larger. In numbers, the third edition of the WTR in Alagoas is already a success", celebrates the Administrative Coordinator of PoP-AL, Georginei Neri.
On the 15th, the program will be packed with presentations, including “RNP and its services”, presented by RNP’s deputy director of Service Management, Luiz Coelho; “AI in technical support”, led by RNP’s Integrated Support manager, Francisco Júnior; and “Security incident handling”, presented by CAIS analysts Leonardo Dias and Rildo Souza.
Three round tables will also be held: the first on the evolution of connectivity in Alagoas, the second on Women in IT - with nine participants - and, finally, a table of honor with the participation of the coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Information Science at UFAL (PPGCI/UFAL), Francisca Rosaline Leite Mota, the president of the Foundation for Research Support of the State of Alagoas (Fapeal), Prof. Dr. Fábio Guedes, and the Secretary of State for Science, Technology and Innovation of Alagoas, Silvio Bulhões Azevedo.
