At the end of 2022, the Escola Superior de Redes (ESR) received the "Learning Revolution 2022" award, granted by REVVO, a digital learning company, in the Educational Platform category. It was the second time that ESR's Virtual Learning Environment was chosen to receive the honor. The first time, in 2020, the award was won in the Best Customized Platform category.

“Receiving this award is the result of the constant improvement we carry out in the ESR learning environment. Mainly in a context where Distance Learning is strengthened and represents most of the training carried out, developing functionalities that the journey and the quality of teaching is our priority”, emphasizes the Academic Manager of ESR, Yve Marcial.

Wide offer of courses for 2023

The ESR course calendar for 2023 is now live. Among the free options that appear throughout the year, one is already available and  teaches students to use EduPlay platforms, which collects videos of academic content shared by other users, and Web Conferencing, for virtual meetings.

The School has 10 trails for different levels of knowledge. The Security, IT Governance tracks and the track arising from the partnership, unique in Brazil, with the SANS Institute, the largest in cybersecurity in the world, stand out. There are courses from basic to advanced level in Network Administration and Projects, Systems Administration, Systems Development, Cloud Computing, Blockchain and Agile Methods and Innovation. There are more than 70 courses with a practical approach and lasting between 16 and 40 hours.

So far, 97 classes have been defined for the 2023 calendar, 72 of them for distance learning courses. There are also 25 on-site classes, at the units in Brasília (DF), Rio de Janeiro (RJ), Porto Alegre (RS) and Salvador (BA). The number, however, may increase, as new classes may be launched throughout the year.

“The 2023 calendar demonstrates the evolution and growth of ESR in recent years. Distance Learning and face-to-face classes; new partnerships with world-renowned institutions; new courses with updated content; new learning trails; and the continuous improvement of our infrastructure. In 2022, we achieved a record number of students at the School, and this year, we intend to develop even more careers for IT professionals with the recognized quality of our deliveries”, says ESR Deputy Director, Leandro Guimarães.
