The businessman and author of best-selling books on leadership will be one of the keynote speakers at the event in Brasília

The 13th edition of the RNP Forum, which will be held from August 27 to 29 in Brasília, is now accepting registrations and has new features in the program. Businessman José Salibi Neto, the first keynote speaker to present at the event, will give a talk on leadership and project efficiency, one of the priority topics for this year.

Co-founder of HSM, a leading company in Executive Education, Salibi Neto will address eight skills that every leader needs to have, whether in a company, a public body or a university project.

“I studied the leadership skills of new generation companies that are very successful to see what they do differently compared to the leaders of companies that are losing relevance. The result of this was the identification of eight complementary skills that go beyond the traditional ones we already know, such as focus, emotional intelligence, teamwork, among others,” said Salibi in an interview with RNP.

According to Salibi Neto, the type of organization or project does not matter. Leadership skills need to be absorbed by those leading a team. “Every project needs good leaders. Only then will ideas move forward successfully and be relevant to people,” said the businessman.

The 65-year-old executive says he is looking forward to sharing knowledge and learning at the RNP Forum: “I am very excited, especially because it will be for an organization and an audience that works with knowledge and innovation. I will be able to share my ideas and also learn. The idea is certainly to see what the innovation community is doing so that we can grow together.”

In addition to his career as a businessman, Salibi Neto is also known for his books, which have become best-sellers on business leadership, such as "Gestão do Amanhã" and "O Novo Código da Cultura", works that contain many of his theories and lessons.

Also confirmed for the RNP Forum program, Marco Fabossi is one of the speakers who will talk about leadership during the event. With over 25 years of executive experience, the businessman is the author of the books “Coração de Líder – A Essência do Líder-Coach” and “O Fator Confiança” and is currently the head of Crescimentum, a corporate education and organizational culture company.  

Other topics from the RNP Forum

Held annually by RNP to discuss the future of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), the Forum is a meeting point for the teaching, research and innovation community, which multiplies partnerships and articulates collaborations. The program for this edition will address current topics, such as digital security, artificial intelligence, data management, mobile networks, cloud computing, among others.
