On November 24 and 25, RNP supported with its network infrastructure the workshop “Art in Network – Dance and Performance through the Telecorpo” performed during Hiperorganics sixth edition. The event, promoted by the School of Fine Arts of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), took place in November from 24 to 27, in the Solar do Jambeiro Cultural Center, in Niterói.

Coordinated by the Research Group Technological Poetics (Grupo de Pesquisa Poéticas Tecnológicas), the workshop TeleCorpo made an introduction to the creative processes that involves art and network technology for dance and performance, in addition to teaching basics of using the computational tool.

On the last day of Hiperorganics (27/11), at 6pm, the electronic magazine MapaD2 will be launch, which addresses arts, dance and digital performance, celebrating the ten years of the workshop Art in Network. RNP have had an article published by the magazine on the network requirements needed to conduct a telematics dance show.
