RUTE is featured in a magazine on telehealth policies in emerging economies
The role of the Telemedicine University Network (RUTE) in Brazil was the subject of one of the articles published in the June issue of the United Nations (UN) magazine, coordinated by the International Policy Center for Sustainable Growth in partnership with the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (Fiocruz).
With international circulation, the publication was dedicated in full to health policies in emerging economies and provided information on the countries that compose BRICS - Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa - and the countries of the Portuguese Speaking Country Community (CPLP) in addition to the development project of public policies on telehealth in Latin America.
In the article published by the UN, the results obtained by RUTE are considered a milestone for telehealth in Latin America, boosting counterparts in neighboring countries and creating a multilateral collaborative environment, besides the formation of national leaders in telehealth and digital health in Brazil.
