MCTI makes a technical visit to the RNP Ombudsman's Office
RNP received a technical visit from the ombudsman from the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI), Paula Montandon, who shared the best practices adopted by the body, promoting an exchange of knowledge and strategies with the RNP Ombudsman team.
The meeting, held on 5/29 at the RNP headquarters in Rio de Janeiro, had as its main objective the carrying out of benchmarking, in order to promote alignment with ministerial good practices and the discussion on opportunities for improvements in the demands for the RNP.
According to RNP Ombudsman analyst Felipe Sodré, one of the main topics discussed was the implementation of a new flow for information requests received by RNP, through the federal government's e-SIC tool.
According to the analyst, this change aims to facilitate interaction between RNP and claimants, in addition to allowing the extension of deadlines for processing requests.
“With the new process, MCTI will guide claimants to contact the RNP ombudsman directly”, he informs.
RNP presented to MCTI the procedures and numbers achieved by the organization's Ombudsman in the first three months of operation. In total, more than 50 demands have been handled, including complaints, compliments and requests for information and action.
The technical visit highlighted the importance of collaboration between ombudsman offices to improve internal processes and ensure more efficient and transparent service to claimants”, concludes Sodré.
Ombudsman Paula Montandon praised the RNP Ombudsman's Office and the work processes designed.
“I emphasize that RNP is a pioneer, among MCTI Social Organizations, in creating its own Ombudsman's Office, with the aim of opening up dialogue with society and improving the services provided", declared the manager.
