RNP's director-general, Nelson Simões, and the president of the Brazilian Geological Service (CPRM), Esteves Conalgo, signed today (September 19th) an agreement that enables the encouragement of innovation and the improvement of processes that support Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in CPRM. The document provides for the preparation and execution of a work plan, which includes studies and service provision by RNP focused on strengthening and encouraging innovation, as well as improving the technological services provided by the institution to its employees and community. The ceremony that marked the signing of the agreement was held at CPRM headquarters in Brasilia.

According to Esteves Conalgo, it was not just the signing of a work document, it was the realization of a dream, which will allow the implementation of the institution's actions in Brazil and worldwide. Nelson Simões thanked everyone for their efforts to make this dream come true and highlighted the evolution that RNP has been experiencing in recent years, considering the integration of CPRM extremely relevant to expand the value of the Brazilian academic network.
