The For Platform, maintained and operated by RNP in partnership with the Ministry of Education (MEC), was awarded the silver seal of modernization. The initiative is one of the instruments of the State's National Modernization Policy (Moderniza Brasil), instituted in 2021.

To receive the seal, projects are identified and classified with a score after evaluation by an independent organization composed of members of the Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV). The list of contemplated actions was disclosed on 11/29 in the Indicators Panel (Modernizometer) from the Modernization Portal.  

“This seal is a reflection of the collaborative work in which RNP has worked together with the MEC and institutions participating in the Evolution Committee, as we have jointly identified and implemented improvements to the platform, but we cannot forget the work carried out in previous years by UNIFAL, UFLA and UnB together with ANDIFES to prepare the first versions of the Platform. In 2023, we want to work to get the gold seal”, says Hélder Vitorino, Solutions manager responsible for the For Platform project at RNP.

The Modernization Policy seeks to direct the government's efforts to increase efficiency and modernize public administration, service provision and the business environment to better meet the needs of citizens. The Modernizometer is part of this Policy and brings together good practices that can inspire other initiatives in the country.

In 2022, 163 initiatives were nominated to compete for the Modernization Seal, where only 23 initiatives received a gold seal, 27 silver seal, 39 bronze seal, and 14 bronze seal with mention. 

RNP participates in the 3rd FORPLAD of 2022

RNP was present at the 3rd FORPLAD (National Forum of Pro-Rectors of Planning and Administration of Federal Higher Education Institutions) in 2022, held between 11/30 and 12/2, to discuss issues related to the Platform For project, within the risk management and institutional development planning thematic group. 

During the WG meeting, on 12/1, improvements already implemented were presented, doubts regarding the platform were resolved and the importance of the RNP/MEC/WG partnership within the committee was highlighted for the continued evolution of the solution.
