The RNP Point of Presence in Bahia (PoP-BA) holds the 14th edition of the state's Network Technologies Workshop (WTRs), on the 18th and 19th of September, in person, at the Information Technology Superintendency of the Federal University of Bahia (STI/UFBA). The meeting is aimed at managers and technical teams in the ICT area of the main public and private teaching and research institutions in Bahia.

“The expectation of returning to face-to-face meetings is the best possible. In the initial stages of preparing this 2023 version, it was possible to notice a certain apprehension on the part of the organizing team regarding the engagement of participants, our users, technicians and managers, particularly from the interior of the state who will have to physically travel to Salvador, as well as sponsors. As the conversations progressed, the program schedule was being developed, the positive responses from guests to hold the lectures and debates began to arrive and we noticed the demand and excited reactions of the public towards the prospect of the reunion, this expectation gave way to a very good feeling, reinforcing the clear perception of community that characterizes the collaborative spirit that brings together PoP-BA and Remessa customers. I hope everyone comes full of energy because the response was so positive that the program was very intense and varied, covering current innovative technologies, security, advanced applications, services, success stories and future perspectives, filling two whole days with lectures, debates, sharing of experiences and many opportunities for conversations, exchanges and diverse interactions between technicians, users, managers, organizers and sponsors”, stated the technical coordinator of PoP-BA, Luiz Cláudio Mendonça.
