On August 24, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., students, researchers and professors who work or are interested in interactive multimedia applications will be able to attend the discussion forum of Technical Committee for Prospective Technological Studies in Video-cooperation, coordinated by the Brazilian National Research and Educational Network (RNP), which will be transmitted by videoconference.

The purpose of forum creation is to promote information interchange and discussion on application future of video-cooperation. According to Leandro Ciuffo, research and development manager of RNP, the committee encourages the exploration of subjects, networking among researchers and the realization of works and articles together. "We are increasing the participation of the academic community on the committee. The forum is the first step to identify the demand for possible studies or proof of concept, short-term projects calls, seminars and even performing work together”.
