On 7/3, the National Education and Research Network (RNP) and the Brazilian Cooperation Agency (ABC) carried out a strategic visit to Mozambique to exchange experiences for possible future partnerships for Digital Health.

The event, held at the headquarters of the National Institute of Electronic Government (INAGE), was attended by representatives of RNP, MoRENet (Mozambican National Education and Research Network) and the coordination of the National Telehealth Program of the Ministry of Health of Mozambique (MISAU). During the meeting, RNP's 18 years of experience in the area of Digital Health were presented, highlighting the University Telemedicine Network (RUTE).

The discussions addressed issues related to health education and research, as well as practices for implementing the Digital Unified Health System (SUS) in Brazil. The actions and ordinances published by the Secretariat for Information and Digital Health (SEIDIGI) of the Brazilian Ministry of Health were highlighted, which can serve as a reference for Mozambique's strategy.

According to RNP's Health Relationship Manager and RUTE's national coordinator, Luiz Messina, the meeting "marked an important step towards strengthening international cooperation in Digital Health". It was agreed that an in-person visit to Mozambique will be scheduled to detail cooperation actions, aiming at the implementation of joint projects that benefit both countries.
