RUTE creates SIG Covid-19 Brazil and first session will be on 03/23
The University Telemedicine Network (RUTE) created, as emergency, SIG Covid-19 Brazil to face the pandemic of the new coronavirus. The purpose of the group is to congregate tertiary, university, public and private hospitals, which will treat the most serious cases, exchanging experience not only among professionals in Brazil, but from abroad as well, such as China, Italy and the USA.
Initially, there will be three meetings weekly: on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, at 12 PM (Brasilia time) lasting one hour, via Web Conference .
The expectations is to take a reference guest always to speak for 20 minutes at the beginning of each meeting. After that, the debate with the other guests will be started, approaching the Covid-19 topic, in addition to the difficulties faces by the hospital during the combat. There is also intention to take the leaders of each hospital, mainly healthcare professionals and medical and scientific specialties related to the attendance of the new coronavirus.
- First session: Monday, 03/23, from 12 PM to 1 PM.
