The SPIDER project conducts an online survey to identify cooperation demands among organizations in Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean. Learn how to participate
Within the scope of the Horizon Europe SPIDER project, an initiative aimed at enhancing the use of communication infrastructure between Europe and Latin America implemented by the BELLA Program, an online survey is underway to identify opportunities to use this infrastructure for research, technological development and innovation activities between the two continents.
The survey, conducted by researchers from the SPIDER project, also seeks to map the most important technological areas that support the digital transformation of organizations. Respondents will be able to indicate their level of interest in each of the areas listed below, and if they wish, they will be invited to participate in focus groups with experts and political actors from different countries on these technologies:
- Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning
- Mobile Networks (5G / 6G / Open RAN)
- Blockchain
- Cloud Computing
- High Performance Computing (HPC)
- Tools and Technologies for Cybersecurity
- Virtual Research Environments (such as virtual laboratories, simulators, science gateways, data repositories, etc.)
- Quantum Technologies
By participating in the survey, interested parties can contribute to understanding the needs and challenges faced by research and education networks, as well as provide valuable insights for the continuous improvement of the shared digital infrastructure between Europe and the Latin American and Caribbean regions.
The research results will be fundamental to guide future initiatives and investments in the area of digital interconnectivity, promoting greater collaboration and knowledge exchange between the academic communities of both continents.
