UFRN will host the 2nd Hackathon of the Hackers do Bem Program, in Natal-RN, on August 17th and 18th
The Instituto Metrópole Digital, at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, in Natal-RN, will be the stage for the 2nd Hackathon of the Hackers do Bem Program, on August 17th and 18th. The competition, which will take place in person, will bring together cybersecurity enthusiasts in a challenge to identify vulnerabilities in critical systems.
During the event, participants will have the opportunity to analyze real security data and develop innovative solutions. They will also be able to collaborate with the CAIS-RNP security team, improving their skills in data analysis, vulnerability assessment and development of secure systems. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to building safer digital environments.
The Hackathon is open to high school, undergraduate, graduate and other interested students with basic knowledge of programming and cybersecurity. Registrations can be made individually or in teams of 3 to 5 competitors, which can be formed on the day of the competition.
Participants will have access to mentoring from RNP and Metrópole Parque experts in the areas of cybersecurity, development and business. Places are limited. The three best teams will be awarded gift cards sponsored by Google: R$5,000.00 for 1st place, R$3,000.00 for 2nd place and R$2,000.00 for 3rd place.
