Web Conference service supports broadcasting of the International Symposium Brazil in Haiti
This year, RNP supported several institutions to take their events, seminars and meetings further through its Web Conference service. One of the recent uses was at the “International Symposium Brazil in Haiti, a success case”, coordinated by the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Centre (CCOPAB), held in October, in Brasília. The purpose of the event was to celebrate the 13 years of the Brazilian history in the United Nations Stabilization Mission in Haiti, and addressed topics such as the beginning of the mission, Haiti stabilization, humanitarian actions, the 2010 earthquake, the Hurricane Matthew, and the contingent demobilization.
The service was able to gather to the participants in the federal capital people from Pernambuco, Rio de Janeiro, Distrito Federal and São Paulo, since it was open to the general public. The use of RNP’s Web Conference platform in this event was the consequence of the service use at the 6th National Network Seminar in Cybersecurity and Encryption (Senasic), also from the Ministry of Defence.
Who worked closely with RNP in this broadcast was the Lieutenant Lucas Naveiro, of CCOPAB. “The platform was extremely important for the good development of the mission, and it was praised by the commander of the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Centre, Colonel Carlos Augusto Ramires Teixeira. I highlight Patrick’s good will and dedication, who supported us during the event, providing differentiated material and technical knowledge, which was often essential to the good progress of the broadcasting”, highlighted Naveiro, mentioning the support of RNP’s Services analyst, Wescley Patrick.
