RNP's Point of Presence in Bahia (PoP-BA) holds, between 9/12 and 9/16, in online format, the 13th edition of the Bahia Network Technologies Workshop (WTR-BA). The event is aimed at managers and technical teams in the ICT area of the main public and private teaching and research institutions in the state.

“Our schedule will have the participation of RNP, SECTI-BA, FIU/USA, Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), PoP-BA clients, NIC.br, among others; in addition to two short courses, on MPLS and BCOP (Good Practices in Autonomous Systems)”, highlights the technical coordinator of the PoP-BA, Thiago Bomfim.

The event will start with two panels: the first with the director of Engineering and Operations at RNP, Eduardo Grizendi, and SECTI/BA, on "Networks and connectivity in the interior of the state" and the second on "Memory of the Internet in Bahia", with personalities who experienced and participated in the implementation of the internet and RNP's backbone in Bahia.

The week continues with lectures on different topics on “Network Telemetry”, “BGP protocol management tools”, “Security in IoT”, “Metaverse”, “Monitoring and Network Performance”. To close the event, there will be a space for RNP to chat with clients in Bahia and a presentation by the Federal University of Southern Bahia (UFSB), describing its good practices in ICT management.
